What should I expect or prepare for the free consultation? Should I bring anything?

Bring your dog on a standard leash (no retractable leashes) and a collar or harness that they can't escape from. If it is possible your dog may bite, please have them on a muzzle if you have one or notify us so we can provide you with one.

Do you offer private puppy training appointments?

Yes, we do. Puppy training is available for ages 12 weeks to 20 weeks. Send us your email address and a note that you have a puppy to train, and we'll send you our puppy training letter and a Vet form. (All puppies must have a vet sign off before they come to class so that everyone is safe & healthy when they come in)

How can I prepare my dog for obedience class?

The prerequisite for attending our obedience group classes is completing a series of private one-on-one lessons with our trainers.

How do I know which training class is right for my dog?

If you've read through our program options and you aren't sure what to pick, we offer a free consultation service where we do a small assessment of your dog so we can give you some personal recommendations.

If I have a puppy in my home with other, older dogs do you still recommend puppy training?

Absolutely, we recommend all puppies attend a group class or private training.

How much will it cost to train my dog?

Price varies. Each dog is unique, and we offer a wide range of customizable programs that include any combination of one-on-one lessons, group lessons, day training, boarding, and training equipment. The prices can range from our puppy group classes that start at $98 or a single in-home lesson for $125 to an extended advanced board and train program that can cost up to $5000.

What are my Payment options?

We take cash, card, check, or payment options via square installments. You can pay online or in our facility. We do not ask for the full price up front. We ask for 50% before your first lesson with the rest broken up into equal payments.

What if I start one program and I want to upgrade to another?

No problem, whatever you paid for your first program will be put toward your upgraded program. For example, if you sign up for a program with 3 private lessons and 6 months of group classes but you would like the program with 3 private lessons and 1 year of group classes, you will only be billed for those additional 6 months of group classes.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our time is limited and valuable, we'd like to help as many dogs as possible. People wait weeks for an appointment, for that reason we have had to implement a no show/cancellation fee. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time and those who don't show up for their scheduled lessons without prior notification will be subject to a $39 fee.

Do you offer dog boarding and daycare services?

We offer those services to dogs that have trained with us.

How fast will I see results?

Results are as individual as each dog. The results achieved highly depend on you, how willing you are to upkeep and follow through with our protocols, advice, and tips. Typically, people start to see results after their first lesson.

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered before they can start working with a dog trainer?

No, we work with altered and unaltered dogs. However, if your dog is in heat it would be beneficial to keep them at home until they are out of heat.

Are there any breed restrictions?

There are no breed restrictions

Is my dog too old to attend an obedience class?

No dog is too old to go through one of our adult programs. Any dog over 20 weeks dogs may choose from any of our more advanced programs.

Do you offer any guarantees?

While we can't guarantee exact results, we can guarantee that if you follow our protocol, training tips, and advice you will see significant improvement.

Are dog training classes offered on the weekends?

We do offer a combined levels class on Saturdays and pack walks on Sundays

Are you able to come to my house for training?

One private lesson per program is held in your home, the remaining our held in our facility unless vital they all be held in your home. We offer these in-home lessons to anyone within a 25-mile radius of Tri-cities. A travel fee applies if you reside outside of this area.

How does your process change for aggressive dogs receiving training?

The training process doesn't change for aggressive dogs. However, we do require your dog be muzzled if they will pose a risk to humans or other dogs. Aggressive dogs may not be eligible for overnight boarding.

Do you offer AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing?

Yes, we do. Dog that have trained with us may test free of charge. There is a $20 fee if you and your dog have not trained with us.

Do you train therapy dogs?

While we do not offer therapy specific classes, all our training is geared to set each of the dogs up for success in a multitude of environments. If Therapy dog is your goal, we can get you there.

Do you train service dogs?

We do not offer Service Dog training. However, if your dog is already certified and simply needs some help with basics or some behavior modification, we can certainly help with that.
